Flávia Mussawer Montenegro has a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the Mackenzie University, and a Master in Consumer Sciences from the Marketing & Propaganda Higher Education School (ESPM) in São Paulo.

She has lived in the United States, Spain, as well as Australia, and her experiences with multiculturalism and ethnographic research have laid the foundations for her photographic records.

She currently works as a still photographer for the Viva Voz TV Show on the Brazilian channel GNT, which, together with her personal projects, has allowed her to build up a solid career.

​

However, it is in her personal projects that she uses and experiments with new photographic languages to refine her work as a photographer, marking it with a great deal of creativity and technique.
